Ip Man 4: The Finale
“I'm a martial artist. In the face of injustice, I must stand up and fight. That was why we took up martial arts. This is something I want to do.” Someday I'll try to binge the whole franchise because the only one I've seen previously was the first one, and even that I half-remember. As is, this was a serviceable kung fu film, even if I can't really attest to how good it serves as a finale to that saga. Some good fights, some surprisingly strong character work, and effective flashbacks (including at the end)
Ip Man 4: The Finale
the cinematography was good and the camera work showcased the fighting really well! some of the script didn't work and some scenes just turned out to be a bit cheesy, some of it felt like i was watching a soap opera. but i do think they ended the story pretty well.
Ip Man 4: The Finale
This could honestly be a remake of Ip Man 2. The plots points are all mostly the same. This feels more refined. If only we had 2010 Donnie Yen. I like this franchise. It’s lost In some points but overall I like what it does. I also like that you can Just watch the first film on its own. I’m not a huge fan of the goofy dialogue from the English actors in 2,3, 4 had the bad kid actors but the main villain was played by Scott Adkins and he’s a good actor.
