One of the best films I’ve seen this year, and one of my favourite thrillers to date. I loved everything about this film, the aesthetic, the acting, the cast, the story, it was perfect. Amazing film and a must watch.

Horror's been doing really really fucking great over the last 5 or so years, and this keeps the trend going. This, Annihilation, and Dunkirk are the three biggest recent films I can think of that I feel must be seen on a big screen with movie theater-quality audio The one caveat with A Quiet Place is after you watch it once, any rewatch simply won't be as good. I understand why people thought the ending was disappointing, and while it didn't feel that way to me, the logic and simplicity of it definitely affects its replay value

this movie made me jump and so anxious, every sound this movie makes, made my skin crawl. it was so intense and thrilling! i absolutely love the way they use the absence of sound to scare us, and i absolutely love the fact that they actually casted a real deaf actress to play the daughter! all the acting was amazing! i mean it is emily blunt! overall it’s a good thrilling movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
