Pride and Prejudice
esperava nada e no final eu gostei
Pride and Prejudice
Real Regency rager, page-turning for six nail-biting hours. This plainly produced BBC world so rightly turns on Ehle and Firth, but I be missing Sutherland's Mr. Bennett something fierce right about now.
Pride and Prejudice
❝The more I see of the world, the less inclined I am to think well of it.❞ • ───── ⋅☾✵☽⋅ ───── • This adaptation of Pride and Prejudice is my favourite and, in my opinion, far superior to the 2005 film. Firstly, it's so faithful to the book. The characters are presented exactly how Jane Austen wrote them to be. The film has gorgeous visuals, but glosses over so much. The 1995 version also has lovely scenes as well accurate costumes and locations. It isn't rushed so the pacing is perfect and never drags, and is backed with delightful music. Colin Firth is the best Darcy, again because his character is book accurate. He perfectly portrayed the shy, aloof and socially inept version that makes his romance with Lizzy even better on screen. Jennifer Ehle is beautiful and an excellent actress; she is also the best Lizzy; confident, witty and intelligent. The rest of the cast were great as well: everyone was perfect for their role. Overall, I would recommend the 1995 adaptation over the 2005 one any day.
