this movie holds so much sentimental value for me i could write forever about this movie but to keep it cute, the music in this is just perfect, jlo in the yellow dress and tango scene dress are my forever favourites, the tango scene has its own little corner in my brain, and this truly solidified my love and appreciation for dance at such a young age despite never actually dancing lol

If I couldn't, if I couldn't tell you that I was unhappy sometimes, is because I didn't want to risk hurting the one person I treasure most. I'm so sorry.” I don't care what others say, but this is a good and lovely film. Cast was peak and amazing, the dances and the storyline are beautiful...just...*chef's kiss* for this film. Richard Gere and Susan Sandron pairing is unexpected for me, but I loved every single scene of them in this!! They both ruined my bisexuality meter in the best way possible. Same goes with Stanley Tucci and Lisa Ann Walter. And J-Lo? The QUEEN?? Mother of dancing for real!
