I appreciate that the film is trying to say something, even if it’s stated in perhaps the most obvious ways. It’s still an effective and creepy film. Great score, and good performances. I normally don’t go in for creepy kid movies, but maybe it’s just because there’s a full island of them, or maybe it’s just really good filmmaking, but these creepy kids work. Loved the ending.
