Love it. The monster was kind of scary lowkey but the story and execution was everything I expect from Pixar. So good!

While it's certainly not Pixar's most memorable short, Lou still manages to pack a ton of cute into a small running time. It has all of the hallmark Pixar traits, with a cute character causing some cute mayhem in the playground. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's still an enjoyable short that will manage to warm your heart.

Lou is a cute short from Pixar that I didn't really pay much attention to the first time I watched up, but surprisingly enjoyed it more my second time. It's a cute redemption story that is really heartwarming. But, this short isn't the strongest of the bunch, I'd say that this is the weakest of all of the nominated shorts. It's a cute film but doesn't leave as much of an impact as all of the other shorts have had.

Seen as part of the 2018 Oscar Shorts from ShortsTV Lou is the short that has been growing the most on me. It's a cute story that almost everyone can relate to. It's an adorable story with a lot of heart, and probably is gonna end up winning the Oscar. It's a cute short, but I don't think that it's the best of the animated shorts that were nominated. Just because it's cute doesn't mean that it's revolutionary, where Garden Party is a little more revolutionary, but Lou still is a great little short.
