gays nas montanhas de novo DE NOVO? finalmente um final feliz e que final viu, aquela música muito linda tocando com eles no ônibus voltando foi 10/10. (acredito q o filme mereça uma nota melhor pq eu assisti legendado em inglês e eles usavam muitas gírias e palavras q eu n entendia, então atrapalhou um pouco a experiência. bom que é mais um motivo pra eu ter q reassistir rsrs)

i wish i could write a nice poignant review just like the rest i’ve seen here but i'm just honestly in awe of what an incredible film this was. Gheorghe was just a sweet and tender man and you could see this from the little but significant actions that would showcase this, mainly being how he treated the farm animals in comparison to how Johnny treated them. I also love how this is its own unique film that follows a different narrative in contrast to how films following gender and sex mainly around men usually revolve around the acceptance of sexuality but in this film both Gheroghe and Johnny have already come to terms with their sexuality. The setting and path the film takes is one where we follow a man who comes to learn how to love himself and those important to him with Gheroghe being the centre piece to this as he guides Johnny through his emotional repression and growth. And thank goodness we get a happy ending for once

20 RANDOM MOVIES CHALLENGE #10 since Hooptober (which i did not complete, unforch) is over i am resuming this series. only 10 more to watch after this to complete this self-imposed challenge! can i do it? i think so. anyways, nice to see another queer film on this list. a lot of queer films tend to be about discovering one’s sexuality, which i like, but this one focuses more on the experience of falling in love. i love how sweet and intimate these types of films tend to be, it’s very romantic to me. and the baby sheep! aww :,)
