A Ghost Story
Like, I get it, you die and you're eventually forgotten, but that doesn't make this film great. Its not bad, with some good emotional moments, but from the first minute to the last this plays on your heartstrings. The film appears deep on the surface but the idea and concept is quite simple and has been done many times before. Not bad, but massively over-rated in my opinion.

Os clássicos da A24 que são instantâneos porque sua linha de produção é tão industrial quanto Marvel, Disney ou Warner. A diferença é que ela vai pra um grupo seleto de pessoas que querem consumir o "bom cinema", que de bom não tem nada porque ainda estava/está criando seus grandes nomes enquanto vai de experimentação vazia e extremamente chata, pra não dizer péssimo, A Ghost Story é só o mais óbvio desses casos, tecnicamente falando é pobre na hora de apresentar sua narrativa e textualmente é nada. Quer falar sobre tempo, luto, herança e não faz nada disso direito. Existe um momento ou outro aqui e ali isolados que funcionam, mas no todo é um filme de 1h37 que dura o triplo pra acabar. Você pode fazer um filme "chato" e tirar coisas muito boas disso. Luiz Fernando Carvalho e o Júlio Bressane estão ai que não me deixam mentir. Esse filme aqui é só encheção de saco e uma crise existencialista branca que beira o racismo escancarado! Insuportável!
