Heartwarming in all the right ways, Megan Leavey manages to pull on the heartstrings of those who love animals, as well as those with military knowledge. It's a sweet story that was done with a lot of respect, as the real Megan Leavey is still living. I'm not one for war films, but since this one was focused on the bond between her and her dog, I gave it a shot and I'm really happy that I did. It's not the typical film that I am drawn to, but it certainly is one that I won't be forgetting for a long time.
