Diary entries forAd Astra
Ad Astra
Where better to air your existential dread than Neptune?
Ad Astra
Numerous scenes that left me breathless, especially the big two scenes with Brad and his dad Definitely not my favorite film of the year and not even in my top 10 right now, but absolutely one worth seeing
Ad Astra
a movie filled with beautiful shots! i'm talking both cinematography AND brad. usually, space movies bores me but this one kept me intrigued and i was invested in brad's character, and the ending was very satisfying imo.
Ad Astra
Sad space boy cinema with a sterile, overbearing narration, and action sequences which felt completely out of sync with its tone. Luxuriates in isolations internal and external, and it all looks great, but I was barely compelled to finish the thing.
Ad Astra
Being father is scary.
Ad Astra
Est-ce que c'est top 3 film de SF? Non. Est-ce que c'est bien? Ouais
Ad Astra
perdi 123 minutos da minha vida quase morrendo de tedio
Ad Astra
James Gray has been a filmmaker that I’ve been keeping my eye on, especially after his last two films, The Lost City of Z and The Immigrant, which both utterly blew me away. Ad Astra has done the very same, exceeding any expectations that I had, creating a transcendent space epic. Gray’s filmography has been extremely impressive, and I cannot wait to see what else he has to offer.
Ad Astra
dude the colors and the soundtrack in this movie goes so hard
Ad Astra
Eu tô calmo, tranquilo. Dormi bem, oito horas de sono sem pesadelos. Eu estou preparado, pronto para cumprir minhas funções da melhor forma possível. Eu estou focado apenas no essencial, alheio a todo o resto. Só vou tomar decisões pragmáticas. Não vou me permitir distrações levianas. Não vou me permitir pensar em coisas não importantes. Eu não vou depender de ninguém e nem de nada. Não vou estar sujeito a erros.
