Him having a date make out with his neck while he completely is oblivious, focusing entirely on a movie in the theater, was genuinely the most normal and comfortable thing in the hundred minutes

Never knew quite what to expect in this. Wonderfully weird.

Eerily sad and chilling psychological drama disguised as a potential Child’s Playrip-off, quickly developing into a slow burn descent into the ugliness and ramifications of authoritarian parenting, high classism, and toxic father syndrome. Expected this to be a little fun so kinda thrown off by how disquieting it manages to be. Replace the Casio-keyboard/TV-movie soundtrack with an ominous drone and the film’s tone would honestly be perfect.
