there can be something so personal about the homoeroticism shared between male friends. taekwondo is also interesting with how it inserts a single homosexual into the “str8 bro” dynamic. being surrounded by guys who bare their nakedness, desires, and emotions in such a raw natural way that you feel like an invader, a covert spy, observing some sort of ritual that you should not be made privy to. the object of your desire all around you but not being able to act on it, instead relying on furtive glances and awkward touches.  in many ways this is just being gay and going to an all boys private school. many such cases, etc. enjoyed it slightly more this time around, though it’s still incredibly thin on like, story, and the resolution isn’t worth the build up but…whaddya gonna do?
