le monde est à nous je suis sans mot. i had high expectations for this movie due to its popularity on film twitter and these expectations were more than satisfied. the ending,wow. the fact this movie treats heavy themes like distrust, class struggle, racism and police brutality in a way that transcends its own time and remains accurate 30 years after its release is one of the main reasons why it is so good and so appreciated. you feel the tension between Saïd, Vinz and Hubert as if you there with them but it also makes you grow attached to them in a way. i also feel a little bit bad for people who don't understand french slang because the english subtitles don't do justice to how funny some of the dialogue was.

This could well have the greatest ending to any film I’ve ever seen, what a spectacle. An unbelievable film in every meaning of the word, hate breads hate perfect sums up the world we live in. One of the most important movies ever made.

after numerous scenes of them getting into trouble and surviving them, i was finally feeling settled and calm near the ending scene. but then, that ending happened and i was taken by surprise, my heart was beating so fast watching that ending
