Similar to A Quiet Place, this film hits the mark on all fronts. The film is creepy and gripping all the way through, with amazing acting from all the cast, especially Sandra Bullock. An amazing film and one of my favourite thrillers.

I think I'm finally starting to get a little tired of the post-apocalyptic films. There's nothing wrong with them, and I actually enjoy many of them, but now that the market has been so saturated with films, they're getting tiresome. Bird Box certainly falls into the category of dark, post-apocalyptic drama, so it's hard for the film to really have some originality, since there's so many films out there. This one is very similar to this year's A Quiet Place, where sight is what is killer, rather than sound. It's an interesting concept, but with another film out this year with a similar concept, this film does feel redundant. It has a great cast with some surprisingly likable characters, but in the end, the film feels all too familiar. Maybe, if this film was made three or four years ago, it would have been one of the better films of the year. Unfortunately, since it is out now, it's just a middle-of-the-road kind of film that is still entertaining, but doesn't offer anything revolutionary.

tom was so fine i need those 7 inches sandra bullock, you’ve done it again. peak performance ong, like the suspense was there and the ending where she finally gave them names oh i was sick.

my main issue with this movie is that it DID NOT know what genre it wanted to be. It tries to be everything at once & mf nothing works 😭
