A home invasion slasher that dwells in the mundanity of stay-at-home living. The premise is simple: revenge. Most of the fun exists in its claustrophobic, labyrinth apartment set, that snakes into smaller rooms, other rooms, running through to find a way out. The soft melodic soundtrack is nostalgic of that of TV soap operas of the time, which in parts mock the niceties and politeness of contemporary social norms, but also sets the overall film with a tone that attacks trust, grips its in its teeth, all to follow a glorious blood bath of an end. Sharp. To the point. Catches you off guard. All in good fun. *want to watch the sequels, especially the 3rd, but does ANYONE have a link to the 2nd?!
