Whispering Corridors
Phew, it’s taken me 4 days to get through Whispering Corridors. I’d either get distracted, or couldn’t concentrate enough to actually invest in the film. Finally, I was able to get through it (albeit in 3 sittings today), and in all honesty, it wasn’t worth the effort I had tried to put in. It’s a decent ghost flick, standing out among other Korean horror films, as it doesn’t rely on jump scares or gore, but rather just the idea of a ghost to keep it in the horror realm. The beginning of the film built up a solid story, and managed to be genuinely frightening, but as the film progressed, I found myself less interested in it, and ultimately wanting it to be over so I can get on to something else. It’s a decent watch, and it may end up growing on me over time, but for the moment I’m left unsatisfied.
