The City of the Dead

“Witchcraft is not nonsense” “Evil has triumphed over good here” Beautifully atmospheric and surprisingly tense, this 1960 ghost witch story is an utter delight set amidst a town dedicated to keeping its secrets secrets and its fog permanent

The City of the Dead

Very entertaining and moody as hell. I think I'm liking the occult 50's and 60's more and more as time goes on. Turbo up the fog machine, break out the robes and daggers and evil academics, and uncover the enduring scarlet ravines of American life.

The City of the Dead

After as many years as it’s been since I first watched this film, it’s one that I’ve never been able to shake from my head. The sets and atmosphere are what push this film into new territory, weaving a hypnotic tale with stunning visuals. A slept on classic that more people need to discover.

The City of the Dead

Night 26 of 31 Nights of Halloween The City of the Dead is a film that I just stumbled across on Youtube, and man am I glad that I did. It’s just the type of witchy horror film that I’ve been watnting to watch for some time now. It’s a film with a ton of atmosphere, and ends up being a pretty fun film in the end. I really enjoyed this one, and it’s a film that I would recommend to anyone really, since it’s easily accessible for any fan wanting to watch a horror film.

The City of the Dead

El hotel del horror puede ser poco recordable e iconicos, pero el trabajo de John Moxey en el relato es más que gratificante y eficiente.
