finalmente assisti esse filme depois de tanto tempo na minha watchilst! confesso que eu queria tanto não gostar desse filme pela birra intrínseca que eu tenho, mas todos os aspectos me fizeram pensar o contrário. a Itália é o país dos meus sonhos, é onde eu quero morar e viver. essa é A meta da minha vida que foi alimentada pelos vídeos do tiktok, e cmbyn teve um papel importantíssimo nesse sonho. minha experiência ao assistir esse filme foi como se eu estivesse no país. os cenários e as ambientações te puxam pra dentro da história sem nenhuma dificuldade, e com a ajuda da boa atuação dos atores principais, é de extrema facilidade sentir o que os personagens estão sentindo e entender o que se está passando. não poderia deixar de citar a trilha sonora impecável que foi a cereja do bolo em tudo isso. de forma geral, Call Me By Your Namefoi uma experiência que mexeu no meu ponto fraco pelos filmes, que é quando toda a composição da obra toca em lugares que vai além da mente e do pensamento crítico. ainda não conheço a palavra certa que define essa sensação, mas é algo raro de se acontecer nos filmes que assisto.

One of, if not the most beautiful films ever shot, everything in this is well done. The colours, camera work and lifestyle portrayed are simply stunning. Italy looks absolutely amazing. Having been I can confirm it is very nice. Didn’t really enjoy seeing a 30 something year old have sex with a 17 year old though, maybe that’s just me. I completely understand that that’s the point, but it did take away from the romance for me. I know it’s him exploring his sexuality, which is fine, and coming to terms with being gay, also fine, but to me it was just uncomfortable seeing this love story with a pedophile. The ending was fantastic though, sad hours. A good film.
