Out of the Blue
None of the devastation that comes before prepares you for that ending. RIP Linda Manz

Punk? Presley? Queer and confused, Cebe battles domestic violence of alcoholism and drug abuse to make do with who she is. A liberating performance from Manz, a force, and one of the best teen acting performances Iโve ever seen. Thereโs a rugged adultishness in her adolescent charm. Itโs not so much maturity that she displays, but a certainty strong enough to face reality head on. An explosive end, and one you wouldnโt expect that shocks and shimmers into tingling intensity. Where does all anger go? Where does anguish live? How do the suburban lands take it in as fresh air, an air to progress from?
Out of the Blue
BFI Spine #B1442 Coincidentally the best thing I couldโve watched after Sid & Nancy, the film is much more complex than it can seem and really a round of applause to Linda Manz I really like her child playing roles like in days of heaven as well she was such a great actress and this role of hers kinda makes you think more on a broader scale so this is a lil hard to put into words but this film is brilliant and evokes themes so subtly and without explicit assertions great writing by Dennis Hopper and performance as per usual
