Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives
There are few films that can transcend language barriers, as well as the barriers between the living and the dead, and Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives manages to do so with ease. It’s a brilliant film, and one of the most cathartic that I have seen. An impressive feature, and one of the more humbling films I’ve seen as well. I’m very glad that I had the chance to catch this on the Criterion Channel before its exit.
Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives
time has an authority of our lives. it is the one who will forced us to leave... and i'm scared of it. the beautiful part of reincarnation that i've just realized is that every part of our past is us at the end of the day. whatever it was yesterday, last weeks, last years, or even last centuries; those are parts of us. someone who made us in present. somone who built and be fundamental part of our future. what we did before is an inseparable part that will haunted and attached with us forever. even if the authority forcing us to leave, it can't separate us from every part of what we had and did.
