I heavily enjoyed this first watch. The metaphor of the toy bunnies being the symbol to the protagonist’ realisation of how to live life was truly mesmerising and fascinating as a viewer, as this clash between a silly toy bunnies and the old man made this 1000x better. The cyclical structure of how the new Public Affairs Chief being the exact same as the protagonist, the one who dismissed the problems and sent them to other departments show the disciplinary action that the protagonist did, was needed. Also, the treatment he received from his son was heartbreaking to watch, however, I cannot shake off the thought of him leaving his son when he had to undergo surgery, perhaps that was the point in which his son’s resentment towards his father started, with his wife heightening it.
