Hush

Hush

It's a simple scenario and it's staged nicely. The character of Maddie has some neat traits, her inner "writing" voice thankfully not overused and providing a believable, well filmed play-by-play. With the villain, there's nothing explainable or knowable. He simply ... is. Throw in the novelty of deafness and let the mechanism play itself into exhaustion. Pretty satisfying with some nice close-quarters tension, especially when drinking and yelling at the heroine to get her shit together and knife that fucker.

Hush

Make my anxiety goes up because the silent of this movie makes more thrilling. Even there are some dumb decisions to make but this movie is great. And she's literally so me, making a lot decision before taking some action.

Hush

I love Mike Flanagan’s directing style, and it was cool to see Theo from The Haunting of Hill House in more of his work. I think most of the tension built in the beginning is lost when he loses the mask, but this was still very thrilling and overall a good time. Intrusive thought: I’m sorry but I laughed out loud when dude took off his mask and he just looked like some scrawny punk who drinks monster energy and only does “side-hustles” like DoorDash bc he can’t hold down a job. He just gave off broke-bf loser vibes lmaooo💀
