The Tag-Along
Spooky atmospheric Taiwanese horror film about the local "little girl in red" urban legend. For me it was more constantly tense than it ever was truly horrifying, and if you're looking for anything original here you'll be disappointed, but this is a decent watch for early-morning or late-night, and I thought the look of the creepy monster girl was pretty good for the budget they had
The Tag-Along
Spirits are typically the scariest aspect of horror films. Spirits have the ability to terrify, especially with a spirit like the one featured in The Tag-Along. A spirit following people is extremely terrifying, yet this film wasn't. There were many parts that had a creepy atmosphere, but those were only small scenes that didn't impact the film. The climax of the film was a disappointment, especially with the heavy use of CGI. This film had the potential to be a scary ghost tale, but got lost in the plot and ended up being a film that was very forgettable. It's sad to see a film like this end up being disappointing, since it really could have been a very scary film.
