After more time with Hartley, I’ve grown fonder of this film. Ryan is a tornado of a human, and thankfully provides a performance to make it work. The mannered dialogue and story telling all work really well together. I enjoy the weird digressions about publishing and what not.

Never thought I’d hear Christy Carlson-Romano offer to suck anyones cock, so, that was interesting. An odd but charming movie. I would like to live in a world where a poem becomes so hugely important to the world.
