As a feature debut it’s a good first film, but I’d be lying if I said I loved it. Sure, it’s cute and a nice story with a nice message, but it doesn’t spark any emotion from me. Maybe I’m too cold hearted, but I did think it was an easy fun time.

I'm afraid with hermit crab (?) when i was little kid until now, but now after watching this i think little hermit crab is cute like Marcel. This movie is about a shell of hermit crab that warms my heart, it shows about a daily of Marcel and his Nana to search their missing family. Very recommend!

I’m honestly at a loss for words. This film has such a unique point of view, which offers a rich tale with so, so much heart. I honestly wasn’t anticipating to be as moved as I was with this film, but I’m in shambles. There are films where you walk away with a new mindset, feeling like something might change because of it - this is that type of film. It’s a joy to watch, and is one of the most unique films I’ve seen in quite some time. Such a great little film Marcel the Shell with Shoes On is.
