Oh how the mighty have fallen. I don’t think this is as terrible as some say it is, but comparing Trinity to Blade and Blade II just feels unfair. So much of the writing is such a cringe fest. Ryan Reynolds has wayyyy too much dialogue and screen time, Wesley Snipes was far too scarce here, but at least we get Jessica Biel being a badass. Still had a lot of fun with this, but definitely the weakest link of the trilogy. Intrusive thought: as someone who lives in AZ, that guy in the beginning flipping off the sun was extremely relatable.

Whoever told Ryan Reynolds he's a good actor needs to get in the bin, because I couldn't stand his stupid 'humour' – unfortunately it made up most of the dialogue. How did Wesley Snipes become a supporting actor in a film where he's the titular character? Not one good performance, kinda mid action scenes and a mind-numbingly boring plot. I hope to God Marvel does a better job with the Blade revival in works.
