Sekumpulan geng cewek yang memiliki keinginan mempunyai sesuatu yang menarik dihari hari yang sangat membosankan. lalu menemukan brass band sebagai pencarian mereka selama ini. it's that simple. isn't it? It's so enjoyable to watch without any burden or expectations. like watching this movie. melihat tingkah-tingkah lucu bin nyeleneh geng cewek ini dalam menjalani sesuatu yang mereka tak pernah coba sebelumnya. mendalami brass band bagi mereka pun tak mudah. banyak struggle dari masing masing mereka yang bikin brass band ini terasa impossible to make it. but somehow, THE GIRLY TOMOKO!!!! yang hidupnya tak ada sesuatu yang menarik harus menjual PS adiknya untuk sebuah Saxophone yang butut hahaha. coincidentally this is a bit of fun and weird isn't it? Who would have thought that a gang of girls who were looking for something new could have so much effort? The Jazzy things. i've never Explore this because before seeing this film, I always thought that jazzy things were boring. I guess I was wrong. Okay, it happens to have some regrets. It was so much fun watching this film. LoL.

If I was to compare this to Linda Linda Linda as they are films with a similar premise I would say that Swing Girls is more fleshed out and more rewarding as it shows their struggle to become these musicians. I genuinely think this is such a great movie, my favourite part is probably when they were crossing the street and Sekiguchi was like “Is this jazz” about the traffic light sound and then it was just a montage of them seeing jazz in every thing that they encountered. Also great rat representation I love when rats are in movies and are shown positively. I loved the rat that she made for her instrument as a good luck charm.
