Disco Inferno

Night 8 of 31 Nights of Halloween Disco Inferno is a stylish little short, which isn’t necessarily the strongest with plot, but makes up for in set-design and atmosphere. This is a pretty straight-forward story, one that we’ve seen played out before, just not in this fashion. The retro styling really sets you up for a visually stunning short with some great editing. It may be a bit bare when it comes to substance within the plot, which I’ve seen many others note as well, but at the end of the day, this isn’t trying to explore a backstory, it’s just telling a quick little story, so I’m not terribly mad by it being a bit bare. Overall, this really is a great short, it’s just a shame that it’s been shoved onto Netflix without much attention brought to it.
