I tend to pick some of the worst movies to watch on flights because, what else am I going to do? So to round out the series before the legacy sequel comes out, I decided to check out the DTV movie in the "Last Summer" franchise. And yeah, it's about what you expect. But at the same time, I do feel like it could be a lot worse. While it starts out with WAY too many generic characters—I couldn't be bothered to remember them all—they did eventually whittle it down to a core of very stereotypical group of people that I ended up enjoying watching, if not just because of how absurd it all was. More CW TV show vibe, but hey, I like my corny teenage slasher films from time to time.
