Nocturnal Animals
PUTA QUE PARIU n entendi nada quando terminei aí passou uns 2 minutos e tudo fez sentido TA MALUUUUUUCO genial!
Nocturnal Animals
Un thriller bastante perturbador, fuerte y con un mensaje que puede tener varias interpretaciones. La ambientación es oscura y muy al estilo de No Country for Old Men. Tanto Jake, Amy, Michael y Aaron la rompen con sus actuaciones.
Nocturnal Animals
man this movie made me so nervous, it was thrilling and mysterious. tbh it took me watching an explanation vid to really understand all the symbolism and i was not disappointed, it made me love the movie even more! and jakes performance in this wow!

Nocturnal Animals
Personally I really enjoyed this movie. I found my eyes glued to the screen, it was gripping, gruelling. Jake and Amy give stellar performances and I found myself wanting more. As someone who prefers movies over books, this was an interesting twist and exaggerated why. Pacing was great as well. This is what I’ve found off in some other movies I’ve watched recently.
Nocturnal Animals
Que filme bom, não podia ficar um segundo distraído que já ficava confuso, os acontecimentos então? uma maluquice slk
Nocturnal Animals
Having seen a censored version of Nocturnal Animals when first watching, it's interesting to actually see what the full film looks like. The opening title sequence was completely omitted, with some of the violent scenes being cut out as well. Seeing all of these together makes the film so much better, since the film feels much more cohesive. Everything really makes sense, and is much more smooth, instead of having rough cuts to censor the violence or sexual imagery. Tom Ford truly is a genius with an eye for aesthetic, making it even more desirable to finally watch A Single Man. If it's anything like Nocturnal Animals, it should be am amazing film.
Nocturnal Animals
When one hears Tom Ford's name, most think of his luxurious fashion designs, being one of the top names in high fashion. I am constantly bombarded by his fashion, as I live around many of his stores, so it's always interesting to hear his names in other places. His name has been included in politics, as he wouldn't design a dress for Melania Trump. But his most surprising venture has been his venture into film. It's such an interesting transition to see someone go from designing clothes to becoming a filmmaker, let alone a filmmaker working with actors like Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Colin Firth, Julianna Moore, and other big name actors. I wasn't sure how Ford was going to be as a director. Fashion and film are things that don't have many similarities, but it seems that Ford is able to pull both off meticulously. Ford's attention to detail was one of the things that surprised me the most about Nocturnal Animals. This film seems like it was directed from someone who has years of experience in film, putting out a project that they've been wanting to work on for years, not a director's sophomore picture. It's clear that Ford pays attention to film and has a general love for it, as his direction was amazing. He has a distinct style that is extremely pleasing to watch, with smooth pans and gorgeous close ups. It feels like Ford has had years of experience behind the camera, instead of only a couple. Nocturnal Animals wouldn't work without Gyllenhaal and Adams. Amy Adams happens to be my favorite actress of all time, so it's always nice to see her in roles that are very different (her role in this is very different from her role in Arrival and any other film that I have seen her in, showing how versatile of an actor she really is). It was very interesting seeing her character throughout the film, as she seemed like a completely different person during different parts of the film, really showing that Adams knew her character well, as well as played her well. Gyllenhaal had the most difficult acting to do in the film, playing several characters that are drastically different than each other. Gyllenhaal's best acting happened to be when he was playing Tony, while he still had some great scenes while playing Edward. He's one of the most versatile actors that I've seen, as well as one of the best actors today, and Nocturnal Animals shows that he is an amazing actor. While I was a bit confused while watching at times, the setup of Nocturnal Animals was extremely interesting. There are many films that bounce between storylines, but it's been a long time since I saw a film bounce between many storylines and keep all of them interesting. Like anthology films, there are some storylines that are more interesting than others, where you feel like you want to watch one in particular and keep watching it (the same thing happens to me when I try to watch Game of Thrones). But Ford keeps a balance between every storyline, making you want to see what happens during each of them, making all of them seem vital to the story. I did get confused in the beginning, as I wasn't sure exactly what was happening. I hadn't actually read the basic plot of the film, as I wanted to go in not knowing much. I had to read what the film was about to understand what was going on. That was the only thing that I had trouble with, but it was something that didn't make the movie difficult to watch. It's always interesting to see someone who normally doesn't have anything to do with film join film. Many people are excited for Harry Styles in Christoper Nolan's new film Dunkirk, but I can say that I'm more excited for the next film from a major fashion designer. Tom Ford is a director that really needs to be paid attention to, as he has the capabilities of creating phenomenal films. Paired with a great cast, there is so much potential with Ford behind the camera. I am extremely interested to see what other projects Ford works on, as he's a director that really is different than the traditional directors today. Nocturnal Animals is a fantastic sophomore film that makes me even more excited to watch his directorial debut, A Single Man.
