Diary entries forTomb Raider
Tomb Raider
"Fine" still makes this one of the best game films. Vikander's better than I expected!
Tomb Raider
We have a good Lara Croft but not a exciting Tomb Raider film. World can't be right, sometimes.
Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider is a surprisingly fun action film that manages to distance itself from it's early 2000's counterpart. Alicia Vikander certainly is an interesting choice, but she definitely was the right choice to play Lara Croft, since she was electric the entire film. It may have fallen into the typical cliches that action films tend to go toward, but Kimiko was a very interesting subject for her to try to find. Tomb Raider is an altogether fun film that I definitely want to see again, just to see all of the other little details that I missed this time.
Tomb Raider
Just as fun as I remember it being in theaters, Tomb Raider was just what I was wanting - lots of action with a cool antagonist. I’d love to continue to see Vikander as Croft, since she really was the star of the show!
Tomb Raider
Better than I thought it was going to be, nothing outstanding but not bad at all.
Tomb Raider
por aqui amamos uma mulher se aventurando e ganhando de homens !!
Tomb Raider
I don't get why this has so many low reviews. I enjoyed this more than the original 2 films. This was very reminiscent to the only tomb raider game I've played (Tomb Raider 2013). It also made me remember stuff I forgot about that game. While it's not an exact replica it does good at that part. Lara Croft once again is the best part of this film. She is badass in this one. Alicia Vikander is amazing as Lara and really fits the more modern version. I honestly kinda prefer her as Lara? I also prefer the relationship between Lara and her father in this more then I did in the original film, these scenes had a lot more emotion. The action in this is a lot better too. This also included some cool game easter eggs too like her pry axes. I also liked that ending with her double pistols she always uses. Too bad there won't be a sequel.
Tomb Raider
The Year is 2018: Ranked and Reviewed (https://boxd.it/1OIs4) A video-game adaptation with a script that's better suited as a video-game and not a live-action feast, this Tomb Raider reboot is unfortunately another expected drag in the run of transposed video-game icons. While not as lifeless as its peers, it's passable to a certain degree—in fact, at times it's Alicia Vikander's charisma that makes it worthwhile. She's without fail, despite the lack of originality in her character; it isn't her fault she's trapped in such a tacky story. Action/adventure movies come and go, and Tomb Raider doesn't do a hell of a lot to stick around any longer than something else like this could. The action is there and entertaining enough—one enthralling boat scene is probably the most excitement you'll get from this film. And even the way it sends throwbacks to the video-game character's moves in the game is cheesy but fair enough. However, there just isn't an adequate number of enjoyment spread throughout, and that spread wears thin pretty fast. 2.7/5
Tomb Raider
This movie reminded me of National Treasure in the absolute best possible way. With a hint of Da Vinci Code.
Tomb Raider
