Free Fire
i'm not gonna lie this was fucking hilarious, had me laughing out loud several times. cillian looked sexy as hell. costumes and soundtrack were fucking fire. gonna admit about halfway through it was hard for me to stay focused on the movie and i paused it several times to play solitaire on my phone. armie hammer jumpscare wasn't appreciated (cillian the things i watch for you). lots of pew pew pew but it was actually entertaining.

il y a une musique sympa mais pour le reste qu'est-ce que je me suis fait chier c'est un délire
Free Fire
It's a shame that I put this film on as background noise at first, because I missed a ton of stuff in the beginning of the film. Free Fire truly is unlike any other film that I have watched. Many films that are in one location with a small cast seem to be decent, but this film does everything it can to distance itself from the other films, creating a truly unique experience. The cast is honestly stunning, with every member of the film being at the top of their game. Brie Larson was the star of the film, completely taking my breath away. The film just feels like a Ben Wheatley film, having a similar aesthetic and realistic violence that is found in his other films. What got me most about the film was the sound department, something that I rarely actually pay attention to in films. The audio of this film was impeccable, with this film really having a good chance at getting an Oscar nomination this year (and the Academy really does need to consider this film, they'll be fools if this doesn't nominated). Free Fire is one of 2017's surprise films, showcasing amazing talent on and off screen.

❝Steve! You fucking chocolate teapot!❞ · · ────── •⊰✧⊱• ────── · · This was so much better than I was expecting. Free Fire sounds boring in concept, but it works surprisingly well despite mostly taking place in one location. I really liked that the script was full of comedic moments because it offloaded some of the tiresomeness of the scenes filled with shooting. The cast did fantastically overall, but Sharlto Copley and Sam Riley's performances stood out to me as being the best in the film. I learned so many good insults, and for that alone I recommend giving this a go.

the first 15 minutes was so boring but the rest was very funny
Free Fire
they decided to create and write the most boring bullshit of a film when they got cillian and brie in one film. half star for each.
Free Fire
Spaghetti western symphonies and bullets; a British-American exercise in the on-edge standoff but turned up to eleven experience. A warehouse of international assholes; a dusty playground for the latter of the night. What begins as a seemingly intact and illegal firearm deal quickly flares up into a white knuckled piece of uncontrollable fluster and bleeding out patients. Free Fire is Ben Wheatley's latest feature, a hectic crime-action pulsating of hilarity and wicked entertainment in the most unadulterated form of guilty pleasure. Its barrage and showering of bullets go off routinely in fun doses, and its all backed up by the often amusing cast of entertaining characters. A lack of distinct style would have made this film even more pleasant but for the most part Free Fire ticks all the right boxes for a vintage and energetic round of claustrophobic thunder and humor. 3.8/5

"oh, men" Watched for Brie Larson stayed for the icon Vernon "Watch and Vern" [last name] Giggle-worthy (pulled out the thesaurus for that one) and chaotic with good action and surprising/ fun pay offs. Also lots of crawling content if that's your thing 😜
