I honestly dont usually read synopsis of films so this was so weird for me. I found this film to be very gross and depressing. With a sensitive topic like this I feel like unless its done very well it just leaves me feeling grossed or disgusted or just plain wrong while watching it. The story was not anywhere close to what I was expecting based of the poster and the title. Like I said I don't read the synopsis so thats my bad, This honestly felt like a bad student film or something low quality. I found it to be pretty boring for most of it. Like I mentioned before I felt wrong just watching this. Its emotional but to the point where I can't care. Its creepy, gross, disgusting and even sad. Don't get me wrong I dont mind gore at all. Or even creepy and gross topics like this. But with this it just felt off. The cast was fine for the most part. This was the hardest to watch Mckenna Grace film considering her character and the context. It just made me want to vomit ngl. It's even worse if you watch this. She was fine for the like 7 seconds of screentime she had though. Some parts I can say were fine in representation of real issues. But this was just so depressing and gross. Seeing someone sell their soul to afford college etc was sad as crap. The low quality didn't help either. I just felt wrong watching this. Overall I should've probably read the synopsis before hand but even then this just was bad. As a film I would probably say it was ok maybe deserving of a 2/5 or 2.5/5 but for me I just couldn't watch this without getting weirded out. So ill leave it at 1.5/5, one of my lowest rated films in ages. I understand if someone can like this more than I did but I just couldn't. The things I watch for Mckenna Grace lmao. Like I said in my previous review Mckenna Grace's filmography only cooks when she has more than 2 minutes of screentime. Guess that just means she makes them better lol.
