i havent seen this movie in years and i remember how much i rewatched this movie and was so certain this was the best movie ever created. rewatching it i realized how problematic the story is, although i know the premise of the movie is bad and i know barnum is burning in hell but i didn’t think it was this bad omg, every time the man opens his mouth my jaw drops he’s so nasty. the songs still hits so hard though and its so beautifully shot. zendaya and rebecca ferguson so gorgeous my god.

Filme de conforto que demora até ficar confortável, um dos meus musicais favoritos, simplesmente não me canso de assistir. Meu sonho de infância era ser artista de circo então vem uma memória afetiva muito forte, e ponto alto do show: ZENDAYA!!!

Se eu ganhasse um real pra cada filme que a Rebecca Ferguson e a Zendaya acompanham um homem branco médio com delírios de grandeza e se aproveita da existência de pessoas marginalizadas pra alcançar seus objetivos, eu teria dois reais, o que não é muito, mas é estranho que tenha acontecido duas vezes...
