ana’s mom and my mom are literally the same person, manipulative, gaslighting, bodyshaming, like she literally said the same things my mom say to me its awful. i don’t like them. when the women at the factory started removing their clothes and compared cellulites and stretch marks and called themselves beautiful oh it was everything! i love women and fuck you carmen! saw someone on twitter said that this is the og lady bird and i agree, better too! This is such a beautiful movie!! I almost cried when Mr Guzman came to announce the great news. The two lovebirds, the abuelo, her sweet papa, her sister and working at the factory. I didn’t know America Ferrera used to be chubby but I swear she was so gorgeous. Such a shame we didn’t get to see her rocking that pretty dress!

I was crying half the movie, over small stuff too. The whole film is beautiful from beginning to end it has this warm feeling in the color grading and cinematography that really defines the feel in a way i adored. The arguments, insults, and insecurities feel so real. The ending is so bittersweet and yet I can't help but feel like it was as perfect as it could get. I love the message, the body positivity made me fr tear up as someone who is bigger and also a woman. 😭 I love love love love this movie wish i watched it sooner.
