The Accountant
83/100 Someone said this is John Wick for the autistic and they’re spot on lmao. Ben Affleck needs to do more such roles because that man is massive, he just looks larger than everyone in film. I thought he looked larger than Cavill in Batman V Superman, I’m pretty sure he is too. Initially, I thought he’d just carry the film being a nerdy accountant and secret assassin, everything would rest on his performance and everything would revolve around him but this has a surprisingly sophisticated plot. It demands attention the longer it goes on and it gives time to JK Simmons, Anna and Jon to have their part. It’s an extremely well paced film and leaves you satisfied. The combat, the transitions and the progression has you wanting to explore further. I was quite shocked to see Alison Wright be the one who helps him at the end and that was a brilliant decision. I thought John Lithgow was finally going to be good but surprise surprise he remains the villain. I’ve only ever see the man be good in Interstellar. A solid action thriller with the meeting of two brothers dumbed down a bit, the rest however hits!

The Accountant
Not that i’ve seen many but this is probably my favorite Affleck role. It’s pretty slow in the beginning unfortunately but after it gets past that it never really stops. 8/10
The Accountant
Well made, and better around the subject of autism than I would’ve expected. Interesting in the way it weaves a large story. Somewhat surprised there hasn’t been a sequel as it feels ripe for more stories.
