Okay, so I went into BULL DURHAM thinking “Oh great, another Kevin Costner baseball movie.” And while I was right—this is indeed a movie in which Kevin Costner plays America’s Favorite Pastime, it’s also one of the most surprisingly homoerotic films I’ve ever seen? I was mouthing what the fuck at my screen every ten minutes because it literally kept getting more and more overt. Which (if you know me) is more than fine, but it still took me completely off guard. Like damn, movies used to be gay and horny.
