Lava is one of my favorite shorts from Pixar. I love the bright and vivid colors, the animation, the song, and pretty much everything else. I'm not sure if Pixar is going to be able to top this short for me, but I will be extremely surprised if it happens.

Lava is another beautifully done Pixar short that focuses on the isolation of one island, hoping that there will be another island to keep them company. It was a really cute short with a really catchy song. It is one of the better of the Pixar shorts I have seen so far! Pixar has been putting out amazing stuff, and I can't wait to see what else they put out.

As sweet as any Pixar short, Lava will no doubt leave a loving and heartwarming impression on audiences - that is once you can shake off the sour portions. It's a little too desperate in the aim to warm viewers' hearts. I'm sorry, but never again do I wish to hear another hackneyed version of a Hawaiian ukulele song.
