Doctor Strange
One of my favourite MCU films, Doctor Stange does many things right. The visual effects in this are truly stunning, some of the best I’ve ever seen, especially in the fight scene between Mads Mikkelsen and the Ancient One. The cape is cool, the acting is fantastic and Doctor Strange is somehow annoying yet likeable, it’s a good film.

Doctor Strange
The Ancient One showing him the astral plane and various dimensions was one of the most visually impressive scenes a blockbuster's been allowed to have. I was always going to have a fondness for this after seeing that part This is a rare film where the titular character being the least interesting person in their own film is probably to its benefit. I'm glad this is getting a sequel!
Doctor Strange
A hypnotic, mind-bending, visually stunning entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With visuals calling back to the works of Nolan (Inception, Batman Begins, and even a bit of Interstellar) one would think Doctor Strange would have a story to match those films. Alas, this is not the case. A forgettable villain, an arrogant hero who learns to humble himself (Iron Man, anyone) a waste a Tilda Swinton (the controversy surrounding her role wasn't worth the role she played), and and of course an Infinity Stone. Because we can't have a Marvel movie that doesn't let us know when the next team up is coming, can we? The reviews I'm afraid lift this film to heights it didn't quite reach. Not a bad film, just a terribly mediocre one. Also the jokes? "Like, Bono, Adele Eminem", "Beyoncè, c'mon don't tell me you haven't heard of her!" were unnecessary and cringe inducing.
Doctor Strange
The weakest of Marvel's Phase 3 films, Doctor Strange takes on a fantastical concept, that does have stunning visuals, but altogether is one of the studio's weakest films. The plot of the film was simple enough, but once the film started to go, it seemed like there was a lot to handle and the film lost itself at times, especially when the film would go into dull moments, which makes up the first third of the film. The visuals are probably the best part of this film, with the effects looking just as stunning as they did in Inception. Doctor Strange isn't Marvel's best film, but it's still not the worst film they've done. This character is the one that I can relate to the least and really don't care to see any more, despite knowing that he will be heavily featured in Infinity Wars. Now I'm fully caught up in the MCU until Thor: Ragnarok comes out later this year.
Doctor Strange
80/100 A pretty great film. Great storyline and something that was truly unique from Marvel.
Doctor Strange
The most underrated MCU movie. Performances by actors especially Benedict Cumberbatch was perfect. The visuals were top notch. Awesome direction. The representation of the mystical art was incredible.
