Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
One of the better MCU films, GOTG 2 makes for a very fun time. The colours are vibrant, story flows well and there are literally five post credit scenes and they’re all good. The ending is very emotional too, RIP Yondu, you’ll be missed Guardian. It’s a great watch.

in terms of character development and character arcs i do like this one better, but i think that's a given since this is the sequel. but overall i think the first one did it better!

Quite possibly Marvel's most colorful film to date, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 takes what worked in the first film and creates a film that is just as fun as the previous installment. Still not being the biggest fan of Marvel's latest films, this felt like a fresh installation into phase 3. The characters are still as likable, the plot is still as wild, and it still feels like a Marvel film, which is most likely the reason why I didn't enjoy it as much as the first film. Nevertheless, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a welcome film into the MCU, which seemed to be stuck in a rut. It'll be interesting to see the Guardians in Infinity War, especially with the footage that came out at Comic Con. Now it's time to wait and see what happens in this universe.

90/100 I loved it. A perfect tribute to Yondu and god his arrow is the best weapon in the MCU. Also, this film is one heck of a visual spectacle; I wish I could’ve seen this in the theatres. And the best thing is this film has a solid villains in the form of a majestic looking Kurt Russell unlike the first film. And Baby Groot is Baby Groot. Every character in this film is well utilised and that is extremely difficult to do when you have so many incredible characters like these. ‘The Chain’ has to be one of the greatest songs ever produced. And I lost it when Drax called Mantis beautiful on the inside.

90/100 I appreciate Yondu (Michael Rooker) even more after watching him in the Walking Dead.
