Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

Tina Fey, being one of the great comediennes of today, has always been one of my favorite actresses. I haven't seen her in many movies, mainly watching her on Saturday Night Live, but what I've seen from her I've always enjoyed. When I heard that another Fey comedy was coming out, I was really excited. Upon some negative reviews, I decided to possibly wait it out and see how much I liked it. I really shouldn't have let those negative reviews get to me since I really did enjoy this, making it one of the more memorable comedies that has come out today. Whisky Tango Foxtrot really isn't set up like your typical comedy. Most comedies today rely on crude jokes to get through the entire movie. While there were some crude jokes throughout, they weren't entirely relied upon. Instead, this seemed to be a smarter comedy. The jokes weren't as blunt and crude, but more subtle and realistic. It's really nice to see more comedies that are female centered. For so long, comedy has just been a genre that's dominated by men. It's comforting to see more films that are centered around women, where men aren't necessarily needed to be funny. Tina Fey is one of my favorite comediennes, and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot shows her talents not only in comedy, but in a dramatic role as well.

I can't really say what's the central conflict; it's just show you several of events that only develop Tina's character. Billy Bob Thornton steals 'my attention' from Margot Robbie
