Existential horniness in a phenomenal, open-thread presentation. Can see why it was protested by gay community at the time, especially with its deep-broiled themes of predation, and I have several open tabs with essays and criticism waiting to be read on this one. The whole thing is riveting and heartrending. And I hear the book its pulling from was even rougher around the edges, but goddamn this is a hot one!

Talvez seja o filme mais subestimado do diretor William Friedkin. Uma obra que usa o personagem de Al Pacino como um olhar voyeur para dentro do submundo sadomasoquista gay de Nova York. Onde um policial precisa investigar e se infiltrar nessa comunidade, pois se trata exatamente do perfil das vitimas de um assassino em série.

Interesting and controversial film for its time, the story keeps asking you questions and it's overall pretty decent but just nothing special and the acting wasn't the best either, altough Al Pacino was pretty alright like I expected. Kinda only watched it because of him too.
