Night 10 of 31 Nights of Halloween Parents is a film that I have been meaning to watch for a very long time. I've had it sitting on my laptop for years, just waiting for the right time to watch it. I was going to watch it earlier this year when I found out that Vestron released it on blu-ray, but I wanted to wait for that perfect time to watch it. Finally, now that it's October, it's the right time to watch it. And I'm glad I chose now, because it really does fit in with the spooky films that I want to watch this month. Parents isn't a typical horror film, but rather is more psychological than scary, but still has moments that are absolutely terrifying. It's surprising how good Randy Quaid was in this, as I really have only seen him in the Vacation series, but he was the scariest thing about this film, or his character was. Parents is a funny and horrifying film that I've waited so long to watch and am beyond happy to say that the film was worth the wait.
