Batman

Not great. Jack Nicholson carries this film on his back, he’s literally the best part by a land slide. It’s cheesy, camp and not really my type of superhero film. In my opinion Christopher Nolan’s trilogy makes this look like child’s play but it does have a certain charm to it. Some of Jokers jokes are funny, but apart from that’s it’s very dull to me.

I like how Batman just kills people in this and it’s just fine for some reason

Batman

Watched this while sitting in the airport. Overall just a really fun time for me. I loved the characters and the score, plus some of the shots were super cool. Jack Nicholson’s Joker captured a more goofy and wacky side rather than the crazy and insane traits of Heath Ledger’s (better) Joker. It’s definitely dated unfortunately. A lot of things look old and out of date which doesn’t hold up well today. But oh well, what do you expect with a movie from the 80s. Probably my favorite Batman so far. I could actually hear what he was saying instead of just grunts. 8.5/10

Batman

The stuff that works really works, the stuff that doesn’t really doesn’t. But I appreciate a dark world that still allows for some fun, rather than the try hard grimdark of THE BATMAN. Asher’s Review Well, it was a pretty good movie. That’s all. 3/5⭐️

Batman

Tim Burton's chaotic clash of 40s noir and skyscrapers, each towering over the city of Gotham in a splash of stylish fascination. The Bat and his black cape; creeping in the shadows and throwing spurts of smoke for disguise. The Joker and his endless grin; injecting cold laughter and fear onto the streets of this jam-packed city. Purple playfulness on the outside, while wretchedness sits on the inner; The Joker is the epitome of fearful madness. A villain and a hero on the streets of darkness; the two connected by a dark and unforgiving relationship. 1989's Batman is both bleak and almost cherry; it's wacky Burton flavor is tolerable and not, despite its gorgeous look on film. Cleanup involves a better story and momentum, yet in the end, the film is rightly entertaining enough for a Burton crafted Batman. His unique approach to portraying a comic book hero is somewhat of a spectacle to watch. 3.4/5

Batman
