Logan
For years I’ve heard this is the best superhero film of all time, and it certainly is very good. Personally I prefer the dark knight but this is definitely close to that masterpiece. Logan is a great watch all the way through and it’s hard to really pick fault with it. I can see why people adore this film and I will definitely be recommending to people who haven’t seen it. The gritty, real nature draws you in and doesn’t let go, it’s a fantastic film which is a modern classic.
Logan
Instant classic, one of the greatest comic films ever and it will change your mind if you're cynical about what comic films are capable of.
Logan
a cinematic masterpiece!

Logan
"So this is what this feels like..." I say as I am left emotionally destroyed by a comic book movie for the first time in years. Like 'The Dark Knight' this film transcends it's genre and gives us a compelling story about hope, loss, found family and it sends off Logan Howlett in the best possible way. With his heart in his hands.

I wasn't ready to say goodbye
Logan
I've been watching this X-Men franchise for a very long time now. Starting about 5 years ago, I finally got into them and I loved them. Ever since, I grew more and more excited to watch a new X-Men film on the big screen, up until X-Men: Apocalypse, where my love for the series seemed to disappear. After watching it, I knew I was entertained, but I felt like I had lost something. I had lost my love for the franchise. Upon seeing the trailer for Logan, I was hoping that this would spark my love for the series again, and that I'd be more and more excited for the next X-Men film. After this film was released, I still had no want to go and see it, until someone very near and dear to me persuaded me to finally go see it. I am so glad that he persuaded me to come see Logan, as it is an experience that I will never forget. This is a passion project. It is clear from the opening scene that this is something like we have never seen before. Graphic, violent, and a seemingly new Wolverine, we get placed right in the center of Logan's new life, years after what has happened in the previous films (and I still am unsure where this places on the timeline, as there seems to be so much going on because of the new films that I just placed this almost in an alternate timeline than the original trilogy). We get to see a Wolverine that we have never seen before, a truly human mutant facing the tough grittiness of the world. We get to see Hugh Jackman's final stand as Wolverine, a character he has been playing for numerous years now. This is his passion, his finale, and you can see that he gives one of his best performances of his career. This is his final farewell to a character he has been playing for a majority of his acting career. Logan is the perfect sendoff for a character. While it may not be fun, it's still a great way to send off a character. Losing a character as major as Wolverine is a big blow, but this film managed to do it with respect and dignity. There are some characters that are sent off in terrible ways, ways that are honestly unforgivable. But sometimes, filmmakers send characters off in ways that feel like it's not them leaving, just going on to something better (as they did with Paul Walker's character in Furious 7). While Logan's sendoff may not be as heartwarming as the previously mentioned sendoff, it's still a good way to send off such a beloved character. While watching this in a packed theater on a Wednesday night, I never thought that I'd have a crowd of people watch me bawl my eyes out, but nevertheless, a full theater watched me cry my eyes out. I've never cried this hard during a film before, since the end of the film really touched me, and definitely pulled at my heartstrings. Logan is one emotional film, where you never know what is going to happen next, whether you should be filled with adrenaline or hesitant to see what happens next. This feeling goes throughout the entire film and really makes the film a fun film to watch. It's very sad to see Wolverine disappear from the universe, but I think Logan did it in a way where fans won't feel disappointed to see a favorite character pass away. I am very excited to watch this film again, as it really has sparked back my love for X-Men.
