this was a really great noir. i find it interesting though how anti-communist propaganda can so easily turn into anti-capitalist propaganda if you the spectator put enough thought into it. also, jean peters. wow.

A simple and fun time. There isn't much to the plot, no really intelligent twists or turns, but it keeps focused on telling a compelling story of betrayal and redemption, even if he is still a crook.
