Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort
Shocktober 21/31 ...are we absolutely sure as a society we need a 7th Wrong Turn film as of next year
Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort
Where Bloodlinessucceeded in bringing a fresh story to the series, Wrong Turn 6: Last Resorttook their concept a bit too far, resulting in a convoluted story with characters that felt distant. The entire film feels a bit off-kilter, like they ran with the first idea on their first draft and decided to build the film off of that. It’s a unique concept, don’t get me wrong, but it gets far too into itself, losing its path and meandering into a bizarre new territory. They had a unique location to shoot in, which was the highlight of the film, it’s just a shame they didn’t take better advantage of where they got to shoot. Still, it did have some fun kills, and brought in plenty of gore, so it’s up to par with the rest of the series in that department at least. I honestly never thought I’d see the day where I finished the Wrong Turnfranchise, but I’m so glad I started watching on a whim a bit ago, since I really did enjoy watching all of these. I’ve been in a film slump recently, so it was nice to get to watch something again!
Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort
