The Aviator
a man who mistook obsession for direction.

I want to know what the milk budget on this thing was
The Aviator
It's hard to articulate a review for this movie, theres an aura that just kind of stops being a masterpiece. First of all, so many cool looking shots that blew me away, I keep thinking about the dramatic piss bottle reveal. Weird CGI but that plane crash sequence was very cool. Bro's going insane for 170 minutes. My negative issue with this movie, it shouldn't have been 170 minutes long. DiCaprio is amazing in this, cool actors came out like Adam Scott, Jude Law, Willem Dafoe and Alec Baldwin.
The Aviator
Sa rompiche un peu quand même
The Aviator
49/100 Look I’m all for long films. In fact I enjoy a story being played out to its completion at the director’s comfort but this is slow and at most times, it’s a whole bunch of nothing. There’s nothing extraordinary about this life for it to be a 3 hour biopic.
The Aviator
While very well made, I feel like we never get to actually truly know or understand Hughes, a character who has remained something of an enigma culturally, and exists mostly as a collection of facts and quirks, providing fodder for jokes about jars of urine. While Marty does a great job behind the lens, and Leo and others do well in front, the script lets them all down. Oh well, it’s still an entertaining time.
The Aviator
The Aviator
Leo’s Magnum Opus… what a performance. Wow. Very interesting biopic on a figure I knew nothing about. A touch on the log side, but pretty entertaining the whole time. A well deserved win for Cate; what an accent lmao. Who is the modern Howard Hughes? 8.2
The Aviator
A atuação do DiCaprio é de um primor absurdo!
The Aviator
This film belongs to Robert Richardson's brilliance. this film is gorgeous and colorful yet. you can see this film dramatize this art deco world in a way that realistically doesn't feel plausible for either a Martin Scorsese film nor for a Biopic about Hughes. I didn't feel connected at all to this film and I wished Michael Mann directed this film instead. This feels suitable more to his sensibilities , ethos and his body of work.
