King Kong

Esse aqui tem um local especial no meu coração, principalmente por uma memória afetiva de ver ele em família. E como filme, ele é uma homenagem ao filme original, com 1h20 a mais de conteúdo que cria um melodrama muito eficaz.

King Kong

I love this. Even it have a shitload of development with ups and downs and some of the CGI between perfection and laziest rendering, i love this odyssey.

King Kong

King Kong is a visually stunning film that expands on the original story, offering a unique look at a classic tale. It may have it’s problems, especially with the dragging of the introduction, but King Kong still makes a fine and fun film to get through, with visual effects that still stand up to the current standards in effects.

King Kong

91/100 Check out my top 100 films - boxd.it/p7t2g (https://boxd.it/p7t2g) This will always be one of my favourite films ever and one of the first films I can recollect watching and absolutely loving when I was young. It’s such a sad masterpiece about Kong. It’s also my favourite iteration of the King Kong genre. It’s more of a realistic version of what would happen if Kong existed in real life. People would bring him out of his own world and kill him in theirs. Hurts. They’ve got larger versions of all animals in the real world and hence it just seems possible and believable when watching this film. And I just love the story of beauty and the beast that they take with this film, don’t like when they treat Kong just Godzilla, stop mixing two giants ffs. I still question the casting of Jack Black because he’s so good but at the same time, the only actor I don’t really connect with throughout the film. He’s actually a perfect mix of idiot and overambitious while being careless but still something bugs me. This is also a really funny film and especially the bits with Kyle Chandler are a treat. It’s got a beautiful soundtrack and such exceptional cinematography. The single shots are some of the most beautiful frames ever put on film. Naomi Watts is one of the most beautiful faces ever put on screen, no wonder the ape died for her! I never actually realised this film was more than 3 hours long but you just breeze through it.

King Kong

We need more movies with Kyle Chandler firing a Tommy gun, and giant apes. They don’t have to be in the same movie, but I’m not gonna be mad about it.

King Kong

yeah there’s just…too much. doesn’t have to be 90odd minutes like the original but a solid 2h20 would do this wonders. way too weightless with obvious cgi and it just bored me. got to the 2 hour mark and called it
