the revenge on mr weaver wasnt enough, he deserved worse. add this to the list of movies where an actress is pretty but the movie treats her like an ugly duckling. anyway this was cute.

listen there were probably like 50 unresolved plot threads in this. the musical numbers are all incredibly out of place and sometimes feel like a really poor attempt at being “cool”. it has really nothing to do with witches because the plot is just a teen makeover movie plot. and yet i find myself strangely charmed by this nonsense. i know i shouldn’t be but i am. did they know what they were doing what’s the level of self awareness on this? it’s one of the most 80s movies to ever do it maybe.
